ISM, or Independent Study  and Mentorship, is a self-guided course where the student picks their topic of study to research and learn about for a year. The topics are endless: From archaeology to optometry, ISM students have the ability to choose any field of work to study. This program is intended for students to learn about their specific topic that they are ardent and passionate about. ISM students engage in informational interviews in the field of  their topic of study, and choose a mentor to study with for the year. Through research assessments, blogs, and mentor visits, students have the ability to attain knowledge in their chosen topic, as well as learning about the business world. At the end of the year, students create a final product to resemble their year's learning.
